Apple has unveiled the iPhone 5, the latest version of its iconic smartphone, at an event in California.

The new processor inside is two times faster than that of the iPhone 4S.
The larger screen has allowed Apple to add an extra row of icons.
It is the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever - 7.6mm thick and just 112g.
The camera stays the same at 8 megapixels, but will have improved low light performance.
There is also a new in-built Panorama app that allows you to take composite pictures.
Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters examines the phone with Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Apple's Phil Schiller described it as the most 'beautiful product we've ever made, bar none'.
Apple says the new screen has improved colour saturation by 44 percent.
Apple has also redesigned the iconic 'earbuds' that traditionally came with iDevices.
