Last week in Berlin, IFA 2012 - Europe's largest consumer tech trade show - took place. All the big tech companies flocked over there to make some of the year's most notable gadget announcements and we've pulled together our pick of the best ones over the following pages.
Samsung Galaxy Note II
Just a few weeks after unveiling the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet at a star-studded party in London, Samsung has used IFA as the platform to launch the Note II - the second incarnation of its 5.5-inch screened phone/tablet hybrid. It offers a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 1280x720 Super AMOLED screen, eight-megapixel camera and will come in a choice of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB storage options, with microSD card slot for expansion. And unlike its larger-screened sibling, it will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean straight out of the box.
