After selling the Star Wars franchise to Disney, George Lucas is now US$4 billion richer, and ready to give it all away.
The move to donate the majority of the sale money to charity is part of his July 2010 commitment to the Giving Pledge, which sees billionaires give away half of their wealth during their lifetime or at their death, with a letter explaining their decision.
